Electric power inverter is a kind of power protection equipment that contains energy storage device, uses inverter as the main component, stabilized voltage and stable frequency output. Its main function: emergency use, to prevent sudden power failure from affecting normal operation and even damage to the system; eliminate mains power surges, instantaneous high voltage, instantaneous low voltage, wire noise and frequency offset and other "power pollution" to provide high Stable quality power supply.

1. Composition of power inverter

The power inverter is mainly composed of rectifier, battery, inverter and static switch.

1, rectifier. The alternating current is converted into direct current, which is filtered and supplied to the load or inverter; at the same time, it provides the charging voltage for the animal battery and acts as a charger.

2, battery. A device used to store electrical energy by a power inverter is composed of a number of batteries connected in series, and its capacity determines the length of time to maintain the power supply. When the mains power is normal, the electric energy is converted into chemical energy and stored in the storage battery; when the mains fails, the chemical energy is converted into electric energy and supplied to the inverter or load.

   3. Inverter. Composed of inverter bridge, control logic and filter circuit, it converts direct current into alternating current.

   4. Static switch. A non-contact switch composed of two thyristors in anti-parallel connection, and its closing/opening is controlled by a logic controller. There are two types: conversion type and parallel type. The former is mostly used in a two-way power supply system to realize automatic switching between the two, and the latter is mostly used in parallel inverters and mains or multiple inverters.

   2. Purchase of power inverter

When purchasing a power inverter, you should choose the most suitable power inverter according to your needs.

   1. Confirm the type of power inverter required. As far as the current power situation is concerned, the power inverter is a necessary power protection device. Different users have different requirements for power inverters. For example, important equipment must use online power inverters with excellent performance and extremely high safety systems, which can withstand high voltages, spikes, surges, and interference from the grid, and output pure power; individual or family users can choose back-up power Inverter power supply, low price, lightweight and compact, the conversion time from mains to battery power is less than 10MS.

  2. Determine the required power of the power inverter. List all the equipment to be protected, sum up the power of each equipment and add 30% expansion capacity for use in system upgrades.

3. Determine the backup time required by the load. In the event of a power failure, if the load only performs simple operations, you can choose a standard power inverter; if the load still needs to run for a long time, you should choose a long-term power inverter.
